A mother's pain is soon forgotten in the Joy of witnessing New Life..... and all living things go back to the Earth in their time, contributing to all that is yet to come forth.... 

We generally do not tend to view our struggles and obstacles as anything else than personal affronts. 

Our darkness, our pain, our doubts, they seem to paralyse us in their seeming suddenness. Thus are we forever surprised and feel thwarted by these challenges, instead of coming to the realization that even the darkness of the womb came to light when we started out in this life - and perhaps, these moments visit us time and again in order to show us the perpetual opportunities for growth, for learning, our daily evloution....for inevitable re-birth, as is the way of all things. 

~ If you do not seek to understand that which you fear or despise, you shall never overcome either.... 
 
 

Familiarity ~ 
 

Let me know my sorrow 
as it purges the tears 
that seek to cleanse my spirit 

Let me know all the shadows 
and whence the light that makes them 
comes from 

Let me know the empty spaces, 
that I shall be familiar with 
what needs to be filled with peace 

Let me know my pain 
so that it may teach me 
all that I'm destined to learn 

Let me know my weakness 
so that I may realize 
what all there is to gain 

Shall I feel the fool again, 
recalling once more 
that this Life exists to teach; 
Enduring not the lessons themselves 
but coming upon the moments, 
The Truth, 
knowing it is but my Life's work 
to realize......
