Aspects of Being
Even as we inhabit this side of "The Mystery", we are never far from being in touch with our Otherness, our essence, our soul, our connectedness. Needless to say, the distractions on this side can seem formidable and insurmountable. Perhaps it would help to remember that many of these distractions are indeed of our own construct and contrivance, and beg the question, "What are we so fiercely afraid of?" As we possess unlimited resources within ourselves, so are we nevertheless trained to look outside of ourselves. And while we do not tend to see questions as such, surely, they are nothing less than a gift.....for no answer ever came without one! As we search, peace may also lie in realizing that the grandness and vastness of Life unfolding around us is not for us to fully understand, but that we are a part of it. Then come those moments, when all seems clear..... ~ I nod my head in
silent acceptance as Truth falls upon my soul. Then I shake my head in
disbelief, that I am worthy to receive it! But God trusts me, and so I
move on with my journey.
I feel a Knowing coming on, like I'm the last star before the Dawn.... Reaching higher, looking deeper as I float upon the Eternal River Past the yearning no more hunger as I feel me standing here I feel a Knowing coming on, like thunder.... like the last shadow before the inevitable Dawn |
